The Waste Agency of Catalonia is organising the International Conference of Qualitative Prevention in the framework of two EU-funded projects: the European Week for Waste Reduction and the reWINE project. The conference will take place in Barcelona (Spain) on 18 May 2017 from 09.00 to 17.00.

The International Conference will focus on waste prevention, sharing experiences, comparing points of view and exploring new fields.

Attendances will have the opportunity to look back at the origins and main results of the eight European Week for Waste Reduction projects organised to date, and will get to study a selection of European best practices on waste prevention. Two practical sessions with experts and stakeholders will take a closer look at new awareness-raising and management strategies aimed at achieving waste prevention.
