Smarter is cleaner — lessons learned from the SCC1 smart city projects
Want to learn more about smart cities ? Join us in Brussels for the European Sustainable Energy Week.
The smart city project RUGGEDISED will take part alongside fellow Horizon 2020 projects, hosting together a joint policy session looking into the replication potential of smart solutions.
Coordinated by ICLEI, all nine Horizon 2020 smart city projects will host the policy session together in Brussels on 22 June 2017 from 4 to 5.30pm.
The session will focus on the replication potential of the energy-related smart solutions being implemented in the lighthouse cities. The aim of this joint event is to equip other cities with the know-how to replicate the processes and technological solutions already developed.
The session will look more closely at smart solutions along three topics: smart grids, smart electric storage and industrial to civic prosumers.
Roland van der Heijden from the city of Rotterdam will present one of the 32 smart city solutions implemented in RUGGEDISED: a 3-D City operations model.
