The European Green Capital Award over the past ten years has created a network of European forerunner cities in environmental management and sustainable urban development. Formalised in 2014 during Copenhagen's Green Capital Year, the network brings together key environmental movers from the local governments of these cities on a regular basis.
The aim of this pilot project is to assist in supporting and enhancing the network of European Green Capital winners and finalists.
Objectives:
- Support and enhance the network
- Share experiences, knowledge and expertise
- Assess the concept of the network
- Promote the network and disseminate solutions
