The City of Malmö and the GREEN SURGE consortium are pleased to invite you to their gathering of researchers, policy-makers and practitioners in Malmö on 20-21 September 2017 to explore the social, environmental and economic virtues of urban green infrastructure.

The conference themes are related to emerging issues and future challenges of nature-based solutions and sustainable urban development, and aims for interactions and critical discussions by a mix of researchers, decision-makers, planners, and practitioners.

The conference environment and program will provide opportunities for dynamic presentations and discussions, moderated by international professionals. We welcome proposals for presentations of research as well as of projects from practice on any aspect of the broad area of nature-based solutions and sustainable urban development.
