PLEEC Final Conference

The three-year international research PLEEC (Planning for Energy Efficient Cities) project is organising its Final Conference 'PLANNING FOR ENERGY EFFICIENT CITIES – how to achieve the Sustainable Energy Smart City' at the Sustainable Built Environment (SBE 16) in Hamburg.

Hosted by the University of Hamburg, the PLEEC partners will share results achieved within the project and their experiences on how to plan for the Energy Smart City. Participants can meet research experts and smart city partners, and take part in discussing future paths of sustainable development.

Carsten Rothballer (Coordinator Sustainable Resources, Climate and Resilience) from ICLEI Europe will deliver the keynote speech on 'Cities driving the transition to a sustainable energy regime'.
