At this interactive one-day event for exchange on common practise regarding Green Public Procurement (GPP) of energy efficient datacenters, participants were informed on what to take into account when procuring IT services for small to medium-sized datacenters to make their contribution to reducing energy costs and CO₂ emissions.

The event took place in the framework of the European PrimeEnergyIT project, which supports market development for energy efficient central IT equipment. The initiative supports procurement and the adequate operation of energy efficient hardware and infrastructure covering the main technologies in datacenters including servers, data storage, network equipment and cooling.

The workshop was split into a morning session in English and an afternoon session in Italian.
