Join ICLEI Europe at the Brussels Urban Summit 2023 and explore how to kick-start your city’s Local Green Deal process and enable its green transition.

On 12-15 June, the Urban Summit will gather over 300 cities worldwide and more than 1000 politicians, experts and representatives of civil society in Brussels to exchange ideas and set the priorities for sustainable, affordable, and liveable cities going forward. See the full programme here.

At the Urban Summit, ICLEI is hosting a 90-minute workshop on Local Green Deals - accelerating and scaling-up your city’s green transition in line with the European Green Deal. The workshop will take place on 14 June at 16:00 -17:30.

The interactive workshop will explore how to kick-start Local Green Deal processes in cities across Europe to enable their transition. Whilst the concept of Local Green Deal is at the heart of the discussion, the workshop aims to inspire, develop and share replicable ideas, solutions and approaches, such as Climate City Contracts, to encourage cities to build their own Local Green Deal for a greener and more inclusive future.
