The Global Town Hall® is a response to cities’ growing needs for low carbon, low-risk, eco-friendly, durable and economical infrastructure solutions. While local leaders will encounter the world’s most cutting edge and sustainable solutions, the platform also allows business to learn about the real needs and challenges facing cities today.

Covering issues such as urban management, energy, water, waste, green buildings, mobility, security and automation, the Global Town Hall® includes presentation by experts on the latest trends for climate-safe and resilient urban infrastructure options, business presentations on the existing and potential field trials of their creative products and services, and a forum and marketplace for exchanging ideas and networking. On 11 April 2013, the first meeting of ICLEI’s SuperCities – large and fast-growing cities with over one million inhabitants – will be held as part of the event. An optional excursion to the International Building Exhibition in Hamburg on 11 April 2013 is also available.

Registration is free. ICLEI Members will receive a free ticket to Metropolitan Solution and Hannover Messe tradeshows valid for the entire duration of the events.
