In this online seminar, participants will be introduced to the concept of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) and learn how these are being implemented as part of the Connecting Nature project to ensure city-wide benefits in Poznań (Poland) and Yerevan (Armenia).

Speakers for this online seminar are:

• Dr. Stuart Connop, European Commission, University of East London, London, UK
• Agnieszka Osipiuk, Project Coordination and Urban Regeneration Office of the City of Poznań, Poznań, Poland
• Shushanik Asmaryan, Center for Ecological-Noosphere Studies (CENS),Yerevan, Armenia

The online seminar will be moderated by Philipp LaHaela Walter (ICLEI Europe) and Mamuka Gvilava (GIS and RS Consulting PCenter "GeoGraphic").

Participants will learn about:

• the Connecting Nature project and the planning of Nature-based Solutions
• the ambitions of leading cities in the project
• Poznan’s and Yerevan’s experiences with Nature-based Solutions and lessons learned along the way towards implementation 

There will be time for questions from participants.
