European cities are facing several challenges when it comes to their senior citizens. While this population group is growing, it is critical to enable and empower them to move around the city independently and sustainably.
A webinar from the CIVITAS ECCENTRIC project, which is taking place on 10 July from 11:30 to 13:00 CEST, will highlight experiences from cities that have rolled out sustainable urban mobility projects that target the elderly and youth, bring generations together, and promote self-determined mobility and sustainability.
Learn from Lea Wiser from Munich (Germany) how to combine sustainable mobility, climate protection and internet education for seniors with the help from high school students. Plus, hear Pilar Castro from Madrid (Spain) discuss how to empower senior citizens and teenagers to take matters into their own hands and move around sustainably and independently.
