Join the UrbanCommunity project for an online community conversation!
UrbanCommunity carries on the legacy of the highly successful UrbanA project, which ICLEI Europe coordinated. It has granted nine exceptional projects with micro-grants to help them experiment to build more sustainable and just communities. On 5 July, all are invited to join a conversation with one of these experimenters.
Pervolarides of Thessaloniki reclaims food that would otherwise end up in a landfill, and uses it to provide hot meals, fruits and vegetables to their community. They also offer workshops and community engagement activities to everyone who wants to contribute to cultivating a better future. They exemplify what it means to cultivate a sustainable and just community.
