Resource Point facilitates knowledge sharing prior to Resilient Cities 2010

The countdown to the launch of Resilient Cities 2010, from 28-30 May in Bonn (Germany), is on. To facilitate knowledge-sharing at the event, the first World Congress on Cities and Adaptation to climate change, ICLEI has created the Resilience Resource Point, a collection of relevant publications and web resources focusing on the issue of adaptation.

The call for submissions for the conference has received an overwhelming response, generating a programme packed with activities and presentations across a range of themes including the latest policies, tools and local government actions. Resilient Cities 2010 will provide an opportunity for city planners and decision makers, urban and climate experts, finance institutions and development organisations to share the latest findings and effective approaches to urban adaptation to climate change.

Those interested in participating in the conference are encouraged to register before 8 May to receive the early-bird registration fee and to secure their accommodation.
