ICLEI Member Kadıköy (Turkey) will host their annual environment festival, 31 May – 3 June 2018, which will this year focus on the topic of water.

Last year’s Çevre Festival saw approximately 20,000 visitors, and almost 100 people from NGOs, local initiatives, and universities take part in the event, which examined how collective action can address issues such as climate change, energy and water efficiency, and the protection of nature.

This year’s festival will focus on the topic of water and will consist of panel discussions, workshops, interviews, nature observations, concerts, film screenings and theatrical performance. The four-day festival taking place in the Selamiçeşme Freedom Park will be a forum to share knowledge and experiences.
