Test a new toolbox using building data to inform climate strategies

The H2020 project MATRYCS is seeking to unlock the potential of Big Data by developing a Toolbox of data-driven applications for building energy management and policy making. The MATRYCS Toolbox provides innovative analytic building services targeting four key areas and covering different perspectives in the building sector:

  1. Monitoring and improvement of the energy performance of buildings
  2. Design facilitation and development of building infrastructure
  3. Policy-making support and policy impact assessment
  4. De-risking of investments in energy efficiency

ICLEI Europe is looking for urban planning professionals, city department directors and council members interested in assessing one specific service of the MATRYCS Toolbox aiming to transform the climate action annual reports submitted via the CDP-ICLEI Track into a basis for the impact assessment and for monitoring cities' Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP).

We want to assist cities and regions in improving their decision-making process by offering benchmarking possibilities, practical policy insights, KPIs and metrics, and other potential inputs for their climate strategies.
