Municipalities and other local stakeholders are invited to apply to the 13th Netzwerk21Kongress ZeitzeicheN local German sustainability awards. The awards seek to honour and raise awareness of best examples of implementing the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda and its Sustainable Development Goals.

Applications can be submitted in the categories of: education for sustainable development outside of syllabus and classroom; sustainable urban, community and regional development; sustainable production and consumption; and international partnerships. Submissions will be accepted until 15 August.

Alternatively, applicants can pitch project ideas under the theme “fit for the future” live in ICLEI Member Berlin (Germany) on 11 December, with a winner being selected by event participants.
