Participants from 20 countries across Europe will meet, exchange and network in ICLEI Member city Malmö (Sweden) at the Covenant capaCITY conference - Energy Action Planning made easy! Taking place on 18 September 2012, the conference promises a great line-up of speakers who will share their contribution on the most pressing topics related to the development of SEAPs (Sustainable Energy Action Plans) in European communities.

Six plenary sessions, specially designed for local governments starting with their action planning, will be held to give guidance on all the key questions: why engage in local energy action planning, where to find support – capacity building and finances, how to involve citizens and stakeholders in the process and much more.

The event will be fully web-streamed and those who missed the opportunity of attending in person can still participate by registering before Thursday 13 September. The Conference is organised by the City of Malmö, ICLEI Europe, in its role as Covenant of Mayors Supporter, and the Covenant capaCITY Consortium.
