Resilient Cities 2011, the second world congress on Cities and Adaptation to Climate Change, will take place on 3-5 June 2011 in ICLEI member city Bonn (Germany). Urban adaptation and resilience-building experts interested in sharing their knowledge and know-how are invited to submit their written contributions to ICLEI via the online application system before 18 January 2011.

These contributions will be used to shape the programme of the conference, with proposals for presentations, panels, workshops, posters and co-events all welcome. This year there will be a renewed emphasis on policy development, practical implementation strategies and financing adaptation.

The event is an excellent opportunity for companies to encounter new markets and opportunities and to showcase the solutions they offer as a producer of new technologies, provider of software, developer of plans or as an expert in the field. The Mayors Adaptation Forum 2011 takes place in parallel to Resilient Cities 2011, from 4-5 June and will elaborate on technical discussions, as local decision-makers give the Congress their political backing.
