CIVITAS ECCENTRIC invites cities to workshop on replicating sustainable urban mobility measures

CIVITAS ECCENTRIC, an EU-funded project focused on implementing solutions for low-/zero-emission urban freight logistics and fostering sustainable urban mobility in suburban districts, invites city representatives to join a workshop on replicating sustainable urban mobility measures.

The two-day workshop will take place in Stockholm (Sweden), 17-18 September, where ECCENTRIC cities Ruse (Bulgaria), Madrid (Spain), Munich (Germany), and Stockholm (Sweden) will share insights into their projects.

Participants will also learn about the selection, development, and implementation of sustainable urban mobility measures from cities currently undergoing those processes.

Part of this will include practical advice on devising plans for urban mobility measures and prioritising measures as part of a Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP).

The workshop will take place directly before the CIVITAS Forum 2018, which is taking place in Umeå (Sweden) from 19-21 September.

A section of the replication workshop will take place on the train to Umeå – the workshop is a prime opportunity for participants of the Forum to gain hands-on training on sustainable urban mobility.
