ICLEI, in collaboration with EKLIPSE and NATURVATION, are currently inviting local authorities in South-Eastern Europe to apply to host a two-day capacity-building workshop titled: Exploring financing options for greener cities - strengthening the capacity of local stakeholders to explore appropriate financing arrangements for nature-based interventions.

The event, which will bring together researchers and representatives from local authorities and civil society across the European Union, will increase participants’ capacity to develop effective financing arrangements for local biodiversity, ecosystem services and nature-based solutions interventions in response to local urban challenges.

Cities interested in hosting the event are invited to review the call for host document. Deadline for submission of bids is 23:59 (CET), 31 March 2019.
