Industry and policy makers exchange on innovation at Agrion Summit

Agrion, a global business community for energy and sustainability, is hosting its second annual European Summit under the banner of “Innovation in Energy and Sustainability” in Paris (France) on 13 and 14 February. Agrion’s mission is to connect thought leaders and executives across the world for business development, education, exchange, and networking.

ICLEI Europe’s Regional Director Wolfgang Teubner will join a panel discussion at the conference on reducing the environmental impact of transport. With the EU-wide goal of reducing emissions by 60 percent by 2050, maintaining a competitive transport system that encourages mobility will have to be supported by smarter and more sustainable options.

The conference connects the key industry figures, investors, policy makers and start-up companies which are integral to the energy and sustainability ecosystems. 40 expert speakers and 400 professionals will exchange on market opportunities and strategic investments in energy, as well as corporate responsibility and sustainable investment. Additionally, over 100 of Europe’s most innovative start-ups will present the ways in which their technologies improve the current state of play in the field of sustainability.
