DGNB seminar to explore urban sustainable development through smart cities

Digitisation, the increase in digital media, information and innovation, has become widespread, impacting upon many aspects of society. Digitisation offers enormous potential for increasing the sustainability of a city, but under what conditions?

The role ‘smart cities’ can play in driving sustainable development will be the topic of a seminar held by DGNB, the German Sustainable Building Council, in Stuttgart (Germany) on 19 April, 14.00 – 17.30.

The seminar, which will give participants an opportunity to exchange ideas and ask questions on the topic of smart cities and urban sustainable development, will be moderated by Dr. Stephan Anders, Head of DGNB System and Professor Wolfgang Gruel from the Institute for Mobility and Digital Innovation.
