Join ICLEI Europe in Brussels at European Sustainable Energy Week on 20-22 June to discover how our projects are advancing clean and just energy transitions. ICLEI Europe’s commitment to accelerating clean, inclusive and sustainable energy transitions across Europe will be showcased at an interactive stand.

The stand will serve as a channel to exchange knowledge, inspire new ideas and incite close cooperation among city representatives, energy companies and public entities attending EUSEW 2023. Furthermore, it will showcase current, relevant city-driven projects in support of the energy transition.

The stand will bring together 15+ innovative energy projects and initiatives, showcasing not only their work accelerating a clean and just energy transition, but also informing municipalities and energy stakeholders about opportunities and expertise spanning funding, tools, trainings, capacity-building products, programmes, and platforms. In short: energy stakeholders should visit the stand to learn how they can best be supported in their energy actions.

The 15+ projects cover a vast array of thematic topics, including sustainable energy communities and collective action, energy management and efficiency, energy citizenship, just energy transitions, circular construction/renovation and positive energy buildings, as well as the use of data and technology in supporting the energy transition. Best practice examples from projects and European initiatives will also be available.

This year, the ICLEI Europe stand will be divided into two thematic days: 21 June will be dedicated to “Just transition & energy communities”, while 22 June will be all about “Sustainable buildings & intelligent infrastructure”.

ICLEI Europe is also happy to be represented by the SESA project during the first day of the Energy Fair (20 June) at a stand about collaboration between EU and African Institutions to accelerate transition and address energy transition challenges.
