Catch up on latest news on sustainable procurement

The latest release of Sustainable Procurement Update takes a look at issues and developments in that field over the past three months, focusing on the role of public procurement in the food consumption of individuals, something that ICLEI is currently researching as part of Policies to Promote Sustainable Consumption Patterns (EUPOPP), a European Union funded project.

The newsletter also covers the launch of six online working groups by the Sustainable Construction and Innovation (SCI) Network. These working groups cover a variety of topics, including procuring innovation and sustainable renovation. ICLEI’s publication of the UN Green Meeting Guide in Spanish is also amongst the 12 distinct topics explored.

The Sustainable Procurement Update is published by ICLEI and covers the work of Procura+ - an initiative designed to help support public authorities in implementing Sustainable Procurement and to promote their achievements.
