Over 1,000 participants are expected to travel to Cancun (Mexico) to take part in the ISES Solar World Congress 2013, an event which will highlight developments driving the increase in renewable energy uptake. Running from 3 – 7 November 2013, the conference is hosted by the International Solar Energy Society (ISES) and the Mexican Solar Energy Association (ANES).
The theme of the 2013 conference is “Renewable Energy for All”, and a particular emphasis will be placed on technologies, deployment strategies and policy initiatives and incentives. The programme will be international in scope, with topics relevant to Mexico and Latin America integrated. A commercial exhibition with international companies working in the solar energy field will be held alongside the conference.
Participants are invited from all sectors of renewable energies, including scientists and researchers, engineers, architects, consultants, business and industry leaders, policy makers, as well as students and educators. The congress will comprise an extensive scientific programme, keynote presentations, plenary speeches and numerous side-meetings.
