In this 90-min political lab, we aim to exchange and debate about political and practical realities linked to garnering broad social support for the implementation of the EU Green Deal on the local level. Participants are invited to reflect on the concept of Local Green Deals as a new, inclusive form of cooperation between local stakeholders, and across political levels in an “eye-to-eye” format. From creative ideas for fostering local engagement and social innovation to rethinking governance structures and approaches, this session is to practically support translating EU commitment into action in local communities around Europe.
