Zagreb Energy Week 2015

The sixth edition of the Zagreb Energy Week will take place from 11th to 16th May 2015 in the Croatian capital, organized by the City of Zagreb’s City Office for energy, environment and sustainable development. A series of events over five days will focus on the inclusion of stakeholders at local, regional, national and international levels in the process of combating climate change. Zagreb is an ICLEI member.

Dealing with the key issues in the field of energy and environmental protection, the Zagreb Energy Week includes a series of international conferences, professional meetings, open days, seminars, workshops, lectures and specialised teaching hours in schools and kindergartens in Zagreb.

Issues with the implemenation of European energy policy will be discussed at length at three main events, organized on the 13th and 14th May 2015, and referring particularly to cities and Covenant of Mayors Supporting structures (C&S). This a two-day international conference entitled “Joint implementation of the EU energy policy for energy security and sustainable development of urban areas“.
