Are you interested in expanding your network in the NbS community? Interested to learn how peer-to-peer exchange can transform our society and address the environmental challenges of today? Then you should take part in a unique in person side-event workshop as a part of EWRC 2023.

Nature-based Solutions (NbS) are valuable tools for cities aiming to meet EU and international biodiversity targets. However, the skills and capacities to achieve these goals are unevenly distributed among regions and communities. This workshop explores how knowledge sharing networks like NbS Hubs, communities of practice and training programmes empower communities to expand NbS implementation. Participants engage in peer-to-peer discussions on important topics such as regional NBS implementation, NBS education and topical exchange on subjects such as water management. Focus on sharing experience, good practices and/or political strategies, as well as facilitating cooperation and networking, including contributions from the audience.
