This 5th THERMOS Capacity Building & Train-the-Trainer workshop hosted by the German Energy Agency (Dena) in Berlin will feature sessions on the role of heating and cooling for local sustainable energy action plans. This will be complemented by a guided study tour with Vattenfall introducing participants to the district cooling network at the famous Potsdamerplatz and current exemplary thermal energy practices in Germany.

THERMOS partners will present and explore the latest features of the THERMOS energy planning software with participants to enable more efficient, simple and cheaper thermal energy system planning in cities and towns. Together with experts and THERMOS pilot cities, workshop participants will be able to test the new features of the software and explore their potential for moving the local energy transition forward.
