The 3rd International 100% Renewable Energy Conference (IRENEC 2013), which takes place in Istanbul (Turkey) from 27-29 June 2013, provides an international platform for sharing knowledge and ideas on the technical, economic, and political aspects of the transition to 100% Renewable Energy.

Following the conclusions of the IRENEC 2012, the main focus of this year's conference is the global challenge of transforming the existing energy network to enable a 100% renewable energy future. The conference aims to facilitate networks to realise this vision through industry, architecture, transportation, local communities and training.

Organised by EUROSOLAR Turkey, the Turkish section of the European Association for Renewable Energies, the event takes place in the T.C. Maltepe Municipality, Türkan Saylan Cultural Center Istanbul.
