As the population of India’s urban areas continues to rise rapidly, cities are heavily investing in new infrastructure to meet the needs of its residents. The boom in development has seen a desire by city planners to learn more about best practices in the field of sustainable development, offering unique partnership opportunities for European cities and regions and their stakeholders.

To capitalise on this opportunity, European cities and regions are invited to attend the Committee of the Regions-supported 6th EuroIndia Summit on “Greening Cities” from 21-23 October 2013 in Hyderabad (India).

Fully supported by the Government of India, the event will also bring together academic, scientific and professional stakeholders who wish to engage with their Indian counterparts on sustainable urban development.

The event is jointly organised by the EuroIndia Centre, the European Business and Technology Centre and the Confederation of Indian Industry, with the support of EUROCHAMBRES.
