Energy management systems as dynamic enablers for local authorities

7 May 2019, 11:00 - 12:30

The EU has put in place ambitious policies and initiatives promoting low-carbon solutions to address climate change on the ground, including promoting viable approaches to energy, like the use of renewable sources and energy efficiency/savings. Since energy often represents the most significant part of an organisation’s environmental footprint, Energy Management Systems (EnMS) are becoming an ever more essential tool, not just for companies, but also for public authorities. An effective EnMS enables the improvement of energy performance, and helps municipalities and others to streamline their operations, save money, and conserve resources in a manner that complements their Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAP).

In this webinar, European experts from Italy, France, Latvia and Croatia with practical experience in facilitating local-level energy transitions will offer their insights on the real-world adoption of EnMS in cities.
