2nd NICE Capacity-Building Webinar

1 March 2023, 11:00 - 12:00
- online

The H2020-funded NICE Project, coordinated by the Technological Research Center CETIM, focuses on water treatment through nature-based solutions (NBS) to mitigate pollution and contribute to water reuse for a circular urban water cycle. Within this framework, 11 Urbal Real Lab‘s around the globe, some of which with enhanced bioaugmentation, and 14 pioneering partners work together to develop and test these solutions. Additionally, NICE supports the definition of guidelines, business models, improvements in current water-related regulatory frameworks, and the tools for the design, selection and implementation of NICE NBS.

In synergy with NICE, the EU H2020-funded MULTISOURCE Project aims to meet similar goals. NICE and MULTISOURCE have been joining efforts in the development of decision-support and planning tools for decision-makers and technicians to be able to prioritise implementation processes for cities to tackle their specific water-related challenges.

During this webinar, our NICE and MULTISOURCE partners from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and the Catalan Institute for Water Research (ICRA) will expose this work and their ongoing stakeholder engagement with local communities, to bring in innovative knowledge on how to address prioritisation (Step 3) and implementation (Step 4) in the framework of the UrbanByNature Programme.

This webinar will take place on the 1st of March from 11am to 12pm CET.
