Apply now to host European sustainable mobility peer-exchanges

Towns and cities have until 18 October to apply to host sustainable mobility peer-exchange activities – that can take the form of study visits or work placements – in 2020.

Organised under the framework of the CIVITAS Initiative, these offer a prime opportunity for host cities to demonstrate their outstanding achievements in the field of sustainable mobility. In the process, they have the chance to exchange and learn from towns and cities across and beyond Europe facing similar transport challenges.

In addition, hosts will be interviewed for an article to be featured on the CIVITAS website and disseminated to European media outlets, and will be offered speaking slots at high-level European events.

The CIVITAS team also provides financial and organisational support to host cities.

Between 2017 and 2020, CIVITAS will have organised a total of 20 work placements or study visits for city representatives to learn from and exchange knowledge on their sustainable urban mobility measures and programmes.

To become a 2020 host city, download an application form here, and send the completed form to Arianna Americo at arianna.americo@eurocities.eu by 18 October 2019.
