Apply now to host an ‘aspiring pioneer’ in climate change action

Applications are now open to host climate change professionals as part of EIT Climate-KIC’s “Pioneers into Practice” programme.

The programme provides climate change professionals from various sectors with professional coaching and the opportunity to apply their newly developed knowledge in a practical placement with a host organisation.

Cities and local governments active in climate change or the low-carbon economy, and who can provide space and supervision for a professional for the duration of their placement, are invited to apply to become a host organisation.

Placements will last 4-6 weeks, and will take place in September and October 2019. Pioneers will work with their hosts to define a sustainability-related work task that they can take on during this time to support the host organisations’ work.

Through the programme, host organisations benefit by gaining access to knowledge-sharing with Pioneers, and to extensive e-learning courses.

Applications for hosts close on 26 April. For more information, click here.
