First Creating Landmarks seminar in less than a week

The Creating Landmarks (Landmarken Setzen) project kicks off in Wiesbaden (Germany) on 5 October 2011. The first event in a series of train-the-trainer seminars will present the services offered by the project to representatives from training academies, public authorities and decision-makers, based or working in Germany, and discuss related topics.

During the interactive, user-oriented event, participants will be encouraged to ask questions to allow them to relate the information transmitted to their own experience. A range of training material will be provided to ensure the knowledge is passed on to their target group - public sector employees. Furthermore, the occasion provides German educators with a unique opportunity to integrate a new topic into their curricula.

Given that public authorities currently spend 19 percent of the EU’s Gross Domestic Product, sustainable procurement in the public sector is key to the creation of a green economy. Those interested in learning more and getting involved in the seminar are invited to register immediately as places are filling up fast.
