Motivated authorities or Energy Agencies keen to receive tailored support, study visits, peer-to-peer guidance and access to workshops to improve energy transition work are invited to join ICLEI Europe.

Local and regional authorities across the world are working toward energy transition. However, their efforts are often not coordinated, meaning that energy transition decision-making can be inconsistent, information can be lost between governing levels, and it can be difficult to share data amongst communities.

ICLEI Europe is part of a project called ePLANET that is working to address this challenge by helping regions to launch coordinated energy transition actions by the public sector. These efforts will be developed and validated in three regions: Crete (Greece), Girona (Spain), and Zlín (Czech Republic).

The project and its three regional partners are searching for “regional alliances” to work together with them on the energy transition. Apply now to work towards the creation of a new digital framework, which will help authorities to share harmonised information, and improve coordination between local authorities and regional governments on implementing the energy transition.

Authorities and Energy Agencies are invited to apply by filling in the following survey by the 20 June deadline. Apply now to benefit from new, innovative solutions and to accelerate the implementation of energy transition measures.
