Learn from leaders how to boost the circularity of your city

Apply now to learn from leading European cities to boost the circular economy in your city!

Seven European cities – Apeldoorn (the Netherlands), Bødo (Norway), Mikkeli (Finland), Porto (Portugal), Seville (Spain), Høje-Taastrup and Roskilde (Denmark) – are taking on pilot actions to 'close the loop' in two of the most important waste streams in Europe: Construction and Demolition Waste (CDW), and Biowaste. The cities will implement ten demonstration actions and test over 30 new tools and processes. Their ultimate aim is to become circular cities in which no resource goes to waste, driving the transition to the circular economy.

Is your city looking to build the foundations for circularity, to transform your construction and demolition waste into a circular flow of materials, or to reuse your biowaste? Then don't miss this opportunity to learn from the seven cities listed above through (funded) study visits, direct exchange with the cities, and tailored peer-to-peer workshops.

All interested cities can learn more at an introductory webinar on 28 January 2021 from 15:00–16:30 CET. Click here to register.

To apply to be one of the "replicator cities", please apply by sending this application form to: paula.land@iclei.org. The deadline for applications is 28 February 2021.

This effort is part of the CityLoops project, which is coordinated by ICLEI Europe. For more information on the project, click here, or download an information leaflet here.
