Open call: apply to receive funding to support your work creating more sustainable and just cities

How might 6,000–10,000 EUR help you create more sustainable and just cities?

ICLEI Europe, with the support of the Robert Bosch Stiftung, is providing micro-grants to help carry-out experiments in this important and exciting field. Not only will grant recipients receive money to support their work, but they will also stay engaged with one another to learn from other leaders also working hard to make their cities more sustainable and just.

Public institutions, associations, NGOs, municipalities, resident groups, social enterprises and sustainability-focused businesses are all able to apply. Applicants’ “experiments” can be any small-scale project, initiative, activity, event or workshop that addresses urban sustainability and justice, and which has the potential to be replicated by others. Experiments should address power, diversity and/or accessibility.

The first step to access funds is simple: share basic information about your experiment with ICLEI by 28 February at 9:00 CET (UTC+1) to find out if you are eligible to receive a grant. Please complete this Google form by 28 February to do so. If you would like to apply but are unable to access Google forms, please contact JustTransition-Europe@iclei.org.

Eligible applicants will then be invited to complete a more detailed application, due on 9 March.
