Present your mobility work and share your views at CIVITAS 2021 Forum

CIVITAS, an initiative which supports cities to make smart, accessible, and sustainable urban mobility, is holding its 18th Annual Forum, taking place 20-21 October in Aachen (Germany). The conference, which will take place in hybrid format, is likely to attract more than 1,000 participants online and 250 in person, making it a prime opportunity to reach a range of stakeholders engaged in the mobility arena.

CIVITAS-affiliated and other projects, organisations and businesses interested in exhibiting their mobility products, tools and experiences during the Forum are invited to apply for the open call for exhibitors, which closes 8 September. Exhibitors will have their own on-site and/or online demonstration space, providing ample opportunity for promotion.

Applications are open for the Civitas Awards, which highlight ambitious, innovative, and successful urban sustainable mobility solutions. The awards are an excellent platform for towns and cities to demonstrate excellence and serve as role models for municipalities across Europe to start their own transport initiatives. Applicants have the chance to win in three categories: the Legacy, Transformation, and Climate Neutral Award. Awards will be distributed at the Civitas Forum.

A call is also open for students and recent graduates to speak in the Forum, in the 'Mobility Powered by the Youth Conference' to be held 19 October 2021 from 14:00-17:30 CET.

This event is an excellent opportunity for youth active in sustainable mobility issues to exchange ideas and connect with experts and other like-minded young professionals. Speakers will be given the platform to present their urban mobility projects or research, within the scope of past or present internships, hackathons, graduation assignments and more. Presentations should correspond with one of the ten thematic areas of the conference, as listed in the call. Registration will soon be available online and applicants will be notified about the outcome of their application by the end of September.
