The Green City Accord offers workshop on how to implement commitment

Green City Accord signatories are going above and beyond to ensure their citizens experience a cleaner and healthier future by planning effective initiatives in five target areas: air, water, nature & biodiversity, waste & circular economy, and noise.

Over 60 cities have signed the Green City Accord thus far, and many are in the midst of creating innovative blueprints that will help them meet their commitments. On 29 September from 10:00-12:30 CEST the Green City Accord secretariat is excited to offer the workshop ‘The Green City Accord: How to implement your commitment.’ This interactive event will provide specific steps on how to plan for, and fulfil, the Green City Accord requirements, in addition to providing cities with an opportunity to share what support they may need throughout this process.

This workshop will also give signatory cities, soon-to-be signatories, and supporter organisations an opportunity to engage with experts, and one another, through facilitated discussions and interactive surveys.

Signatory cities, soon-to-be signatories, and supporter organisations can register for the workshop here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZctf-Gtrz8uGNRg1WgE7CKBi2JL7ji-5lN4

The Green City Accord is a movement of European cities committed to safeguarding the environment. In signing the Green City Accord, city leaders agree to take further action to protect the natural environment and to achieve ambitious goals by 2030 by making progress in five target areas: air, water, nature & biodiversity, waste & circular economy, and noise.

ICLEI Europe, EUROCITIES and CEMR are supporting the European Commission in developing and implementing the Accord.
