The overarching goal of nZEB Ready is to increase market readiness for "near-zero energy building" (nZEB) implementation. This will be accomplished by:

• addressing key identified barriers and needs of nZEB implementation in focused markets;
• creating support mechanisms and stimulating the development of skills frameworks through a new, market-driven mutual recognition training and certification scheme for nZEB deployment, which will facilitate necessary legislative changes; and
• developing and sharing toolboxes, tailored guidance, and practical support tools to engage users and other stakeholders key to a dynamic nZEB market.
