"SUBLIME SDGs" fosters active citizenship, provides educational experiences, and promotes concrete actions for climate and gender justice. By cultivating an appreciation for diversity and civic engagement, the project unites communities and links citizens with decision-makers.

This initiative helps EU residents in border regions to better understand the complexities of the UN 2030 Agenda and to leverage opportunities within the climate transition and gender equality. By engaging both citizens and policymakers, the project aims to inspire change that extends from the local level to a global scale. Uniquely, the project provides sub-grants to community-led initiatives and local governments in the pilot locations. 

ICLEI Europe takes on the role of Advocacy Coordinator, to ensure representation at the EU level.
