QuickCheckN is an online self-assessment tool for German communities (N stands for Nachhaltigkeit, english: Sustanability). It supports communities to get a first impression of how sustainable their management is. Heart of the tool is a multiple-choice questionnaire that takes about 10 minutes. It checks the quality of the conditions for a successful local sustainability management and it asks about processes and methods that support sustainable development in the community. The evaluation is made accessible through text and graphics. It is further possible to compare the results of the communitiy with those of others that already participated.
Thus the results of the tool help to optimize and further develop the sustainability management of a community. Target groups are German cities, communities and districts with more than 5000 citizens.
