This report presents the conclusions and recommendations from GrowSmarter, a five-year project that demonstrated smart city solutions in energy, infrastructure and transport and provided other cities with valuable insights on how the solutions work in practice.
The project included three Lighthouse cities, Stockholm, Cologne and Barcelona, as well as five Follower cities, Valletta, Suceava, Porto, Cork and Graz. GrowSmarter received funding from the European Commission’s Smart Cities and Communities Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme.
