Join peer-learning opportunity to shape cultural heritage

The European Heritage Hub, a project supported by ICLEI Europe, invites city representatives and heritage professionals to apply for an exclusive peer-learning visit in Nantes, from 6–8 November 2024. This event, organised in partnership with ICLEI Member Nantes (France), provides a unique platform to share best practices and develop skills in addressing environmental, digital, and social challenges in cultural heritage.

The visit will spotlight the innovative “Nantes Cultural Heritage 2.0” project, a digital portal co-developed with citizens to explore and contribute to the city’s rich heritage. Participants will also engage in discussions on municipal cultural heritage policies, urban renewal initiatives, and inclusive storytelling related to the city’s industrial and everyday heritage.

The programme is open to cultural heritage professionals from local, regional, and national administrations across Europe, including Ukraine, Moldova, the Western Balkans, and the Caucasus region. Selected participants will benefit from fully covered travel and accommodation expenses, alongside an immersive 2.5-day agenda featuring meetings, site visits, and workshops. The working language will be English.

To seize this opportunity, apply by 6 September 2024. For more information and to submit your application, please visit the European Heritage Hub website.
