European Sustainable Development week 2019 now accepting event registrations

The European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) is a European-wide initiative to stimulate and make visible activities, projects and events that promote sustainable development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It takes place every year from 30 May - 5 June.

Last year’s ESDW saw over 6,000 registered events which spanned 34 countries.

The ESDW hopes to highlight and raise awareness of bottom-up activities that have a thematic link to and support the SDGs. As such, the ESDW aims to raise awareness of the 2030 Agenda in Europe and calls upon local stakeholders to actively engage with sustainable development, in general, and the SDGs, in particular.

Event registration is now open for anyone who wishes to organize an event that is centered on sustainability. Through registering an activity on the website, organizers will have the ability to promote their event to a wider audience and will gain access to promotional materials - logos, posters, banners etc - on the site, allowing them to highlight their participation in a concerted European effort for sustainable development.
