Registration is now open for the 2014 CIVITAS Forum, taking place from 23-26 September in Casablanca (Morocco). Highlights of this year's programme include site visits to share Casablanca’s progress in sustainable urban mobility, as well as a brokerage event which will build on the CIVITAS 2020 calls for 2015 and offer stakeholders opportunities to develop new partnerships.

Sessions will cover a variety of subjects, including clean vehicle strategies, shared cycling, clean urban freight, road safety, urban design, and the future of public transport. There will also be an in-depth look at the use of open transport data to understand, share and analyse transport systems, maximising access to different forms of transport for all city residents.

Casablanca is the first city outside Europe to host the Forum, in a move which signals closer ties between the Euromed Transport Project and CIVITAS. It was chosen for its ambitious plans to improve sustainable transport across the city, including the recent introduction of a tramway line and integrated fare structure.
