Apply to exchange knowledge and learn from other collective energy initiatives

Are you part of a European Energy Community, or running an Energy Collective Action in your municipality? Then you are invited to apply to exchange knowledge and learn from others across Europe working in this field, all in the hopes of helping newer energy initiatives to grow and thrive.

Energy communities and collective actions are leading the way towards sustainable energy transitions. Participating in energy collective initiatives allows citizens to be part of a community with a shared vision to boost sustainable behaviour and to be part of transformative change. Their work is diverse, from generating renewable electricity to providing energy services, guidance, monitoring, and much more.

The new “call for replicants” aims to replicate and share successful approaches and lessons learnt from existing pilot sites and other interested initiatives in order to widen implementation of energy communities and collective actions across the EU. This knowledge will then be applied to more recent initiatives to help them grow their energy communities or collective actions.

Energy communities and collective actions can apply to access:

  • Dedicated and tailored advice;
  • Expertise from project partners;
  • Tried and tested knowledge gained through successful pilots;
  • Assistance in drafting plans for the uptake/scale-up of successful actions;
  • Opportunities for peer exchange and capacity building; and
  • Visibility in national and European events.

Applying to join this call requires three simple steps, each outlined here. First, complete a short self-assessment, then prepare your application, and lastly submit the application by 13 May at 17:00 CEST.

This call is part of the DECIDE project, in which ICLEI Europe is a partner.
