Share your experiences with localising the EU Green Deal

ICLEI Europe partners from the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), have launched a survey on “Closing the Green Deal Gap”. The survey aims to guide a mid-term review of the status, successes and difficulties faced by cities and regions when implementing the EU Green Deal locally. ICLEI Members, who are leaders in localising the Green Deal, are invited to take part in the survey.

The results of the survey will inform the CoR Annual Regional and Local Barometer 2022, as well as guide their political work at the EU and global level. In other words, providing inputs to the survey can help ensure that your perspectives are advocated for!

ICLEI and the CoR have a longstanding cooperation, working together to promote the voices of local actors on the European and international stages. Their cooperation is formalised in a Memorandum of Understanding and joint Action Plan, with priority areas including climate action and resilience, biodiversity, localising the Sustainable Development Goals and the EU Green Deal, as well as circular economy. Furthermore, they cooperate in the context of events such as the European Week of Regions and Cities and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – COP 27.
